Kidney ki sujan kaise kam kare

Krishna

I am super worried about this kidney issue I've been having lately. Like, I noticed my legs and feet started swelling up out of nowhere, and it just seems to keep getting worse! I went to the doctor, and they mentioned something about protein in my urine and hinted that it could be related to my kidneys. Now I'm freaking out... Kidney ki sujan kaise kam kare? Seriously, is there anything that works? I've tried cutting back on salt, but it doesn’t seem to help much. It's hard to even walk around, and I’ve been feeling more tired than usual too, ugh! I did some reading and saw some home remedies online, but I'm skeptical. Like, can you really reduce the swelling from your kidneys at home? Or do I need to actually get some medicine or maybe a special diet? I've seen so many conflicting opinions on this! If anyone has tips on kidney ki sujan kaise kam kare, please share! I'm just trying to find something that actually works, you know? I don’t want to end up in a hospital or something. Any help or advice would be super appreciated! Thanks a ton!

Doctors' responses

Swelling in the legs and feet, especially when accompanied by protein in the urine, can be an indicator of nephrotic syndrome or another kidney-related issue, which indeed requires close monitoring and management. Reducing salt intake is a great start, as sodium can contribute to fluid retention. However, there’s often more involved in managing this type of swelling effectively. First, it’s crucial to continue following up with your healthcare provider. They may recommend specific medications like diuretics, which help your body eliminate excess fluid and can be quite effective at reducing swelling. In addition, controlling underlying conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes, if applicable, is essential. Monitoring your blood pressure regularly and maintaining it within a recommended range is important. Pay attention to your protein intake too, as sometimes dietary adjustments can help alleviate stress on the kidneys. Adequate protein is necessary but shouldn’t be excessive; even though protein helps build tissues, too much can be taxing for the kidneys. A registered dietitian, particularly one specialized in kidney disorders, can be invaluable in helping you navigate dietary choices effectively.

It’s good to be cautious with online home remedies—many lack solid evidence or could delay appropriate treatment. Heavy reliance on herbal treatments without consulting a doctor might not be safe, especially if your condition requires medical intervention. Practicing general healthy lifestyle habits like staying hydrated is beneficial, but it’s also vital to avoid excess fluids if your doctor advises due to specific kidney function risks. If you notice your swelling gets worse rapidly, or new symptoms emerge, reach out to your doctor promptly. In some cases, such signs might require more immediate attention to prevent complications. Lastly, keep all your medical appointments, and don’t hesitate to ask your doctor detailed questions about your treatment plan or any new strategy they propose to manage the symptoms better.
