dark blood colour

I am seriously freaking out about the color of my blood. Last week I had a minor cut on my finger while cooking, and when I looked at it, the blood was this really dark blood colour, like way darker than I remember it being. At first, I thought it was just because of the cut, but then I bumped my toe yesterday and the blood was dark again! I don’t know if I’m just overreacting or if this dark blood colour is actually a sign of something bad. I’m also feeling a bit lightheaded sometimes, like, not full-on dizzy but definitely not myself. I’ve been pretty stressed lately, juggling work and family stuff, and I wonder if that could be affecting my blood or something? There’s no pain, just this weird dark blood colour that keeps bothering me. I mean, I've always thought blood is usually bright red. Is it possible that dark blood colour means something serious? Should I get it checked out or wait and see? I am just trying to connect the dots and suss out if it’s a big deal or just a fluke.
