I am really confused about this sinus headache thing. Last week, I woke up with this awful pain in my forehead and around my eyes, kinda like a tight band. I tried to brush it off thinking it was just a normal headache, but it just got worse. I ended up having to go to bed early because I felt so out of it. A friend told me it might be a sinus headache, but what is a sinus headache actually? I thought all headaches felt the same, but this one felt like there was pressure building up. I also had this weird drainage and my nose was kinda stuffy, like my face was all congested. I read online that sinus headaches are often associated with sinus infections, but how do I tell if it’s really that? What is a sinus headache different from a regular headache? Like, do I need to see a doc or can I just take some decongestants and hope it goes away? I’m worried I’m overthinking this but it was so painful that I can’t shake the feeling that it could be something more serious, you know? Anyone else had this experience?
