I am really unsure about a few things and hope someone can help. Lately, I've been having serious digestive issues—constipation and bloating like crazy. A friend suggested I try isabgol, and I can't help but wonder what does isabgol do, really? I looked it up and saw it's made from psyllium husk, so I'm guessing it must help somehow, but I just wanna know specifics. I mean, I've changed my diet, added fiber, and still feel terrible. I took some isabgol this morning, mixed it in water like they said, but... I'm kinda worried it won't work. What does isabgol do for bloating exactly? I read it can absorb water, but how quick does it kick in? I can't afford to be running to the bathroom all day, you know? Also, does it help with appetite control, too? I was told it helps people feel fuller, but what does isabgol do in terms of long-term benefits? Just scared I'm gonna become reliant on it or something. Any advice or experiences would mean so much. Thanks!
