I was honored to receive the “Best Editor” award by Innovative Publications, and Athena Publications recognized me as an “excellent reviewer,” which honestly came as a bit of a surprise! In 2025, I had the opportunity to present a guest lecture in Italy on traumatic oral lesions. Sharing my work and learning from peers globally has been incredibly fulfilling. Outside academics and clinics, I’ve also worked in the pharmaceutical sector as a Drug Safety Associate for about 3 years, focusing on pharmacovigilance. Neck ka ek taraf tilt ho jaana, jo bachpan se chala aa raha hai, might be a condition called congenital torticollis. Ye condition tab hoti hai jab neck ke muscles mein kisi wajah se asymmetry ho, jaise sternocleidomastoid muscle ki abnormality ke karan. Iska ek common wajah birth trauma, or muscular imbalance bhi ho sakta hai. Generally, agar ye condition painful nahi hai, to ye koi immediate concern nahi ho sakta. Lekin, agar posture affect ho raha hai ya kisi tarah ka discomfort mahsoos ho raha hai, to aapko evaluate karna zaroori hai.

Physiotherapy aur specific exercises kaafi helpful ho sakte hain is condition mein, kyunki ye muscles ko strengthen karne aur flexibility improve karne me assist karte hain. Aapko ek experienced physiotherapist ke paas jaa kar personalized exercise regime lena chahiye jo aapke neck ko support kar sake. Stretching and strengthening exercises jo primarily neck aur shoulder muscles ko target kare, potentially beneficial ho sakti hai. Usually, gentle stretching exercises include tilting the head sideways to the opposite direction and holding it for a few seconds, with repetition, may provide gradual improvement.

Agar ye condition ki wajah se long-term posture changes ya chronic issues hon, toh ek orthopedic or specialist consult zaroori hai. Kuch cases mein surgical intervention bhi consider kiya ja sakta hai, especially agar significant functional impairment ho. Iske ilawa, regular follow-ups aur monitoring seat posture, ergonomics ka dhyan rakhna bhi zarooori hota hai. Prompt medical evaluation can ensure there is no underlying serious issue. If there’s any sudden pain, discomfort, or neurological symptoms like tingling or weakness, immediate medical attention lena bilkul zaroori hai.
