Client_20ad45

मुझे बस यह जानना था कि मैं अपने गले का इलाज कैसे कर सकता हूँ, जो किसी से बात करते समय अनचाहे आवाज़ निकालने की ज़रूरत महसूस करता है।

Dr. Bharat Joshi
I’m a periodontist and academician with a strong clinical and teaching background. Over the last 4 years and 8 months, I’ve been actively involved in dental education, guiding students at multiple levels including dental hygienist, BDS, and MDS programs. Currently, I serve as a Reader at MMCDSR in Ambala, Haryana—a role that allows me to merge my academic passion with hands-on experience. Clinically, I’ve been practicing dentistry for the past 12 years. From routine procedures like scaling and root planing to more advanced cases involving grafts, biopsies, and implant surgeries. Honestly, I still find joy in doing a simple RCT when it’s needed. It’s not just about the procedure but making sure the patient feels comfortable and safe. Academically, I have 26 research publications to my credit. I’m on the editorial boards of the Archives of Dental Research and Journal of Dental Research and Oral Health, and I’ve spent a lot of time reviewing manuscripts—from case reports to meta-analyses and even book reviews. I was honored to receive the “Best Editor” award by Innovative Publications, and Athena Publications recognized me as an “excellent reviewer,” which honestly came as a bit of a surprise! In 2025, I had the opportunity to present a guest lecture in Italy on traumatic oral lesions. Sharing my work and learning from peers globally has been incredibly fulfilling. Outside academics and clinics, I’ve also worked in the pharmaceutical sector as a Drug Safety Associate for about 3 years, focusing on pharmacovigilance. That role really sharpened my attention to detail and deepened my understanding of drug interactions and adverse effects. My goal is to keep learning, and give every patient and student my absolute best.

Unwanted throat sounds while speaking could be caused by a variety of conditions, each needing a different approach. The first thing to consider is if there’s any irritation or inflammation in your throat. Common culprits include allergies, acid reflux, or even chronic throat clearing that makes your vocal cords a bit strained. Try staying hydrated—drink plenty of water to keep your throat moist. Avoid caffeine and alcohol, as they’re both drying. If there’s a chance acid reflux is involved, consider dietary changes: reduce spicy, acidic, or greasy foods, and don’t eat right before lying down. Over-the-counter antacids might be worth trying to see if symptoms improve. Allergies might need antihistamines or nasal sprays. If you smoke, quitting is noteworthy since it can reduce irritation and vocal strain. Be mindful about how you’re using your voice—avoid shouting or whispering, both of which can put more tension on your vocal cords. Speaking at a moderate volume generally helps reduce strain. If these self-help measures aren’t making a dent, seeing an ENT specialist would be prudent they can do a detailed examination, perhaps see if there’s a more structural issue like a vocal cord nodule or polyp that might be causing sound variations. I it’s persistent, or associated with other symptoms like pain, hoarseness, or difficulty swallowing, that could indicate a need for more comprehensive evaluation to rule out more serious conditions.
