I am starting to feel really confused about what colors actually look best on me, especially since I've got brown skin. You know, like, I always thought certain shades would work, but every time I try to put together an outfit, I'm not sure anymore! Like, I wore this bright yellow shirt last week and a friend said it clashed, but I thought it was okay. I mean, some say jewel tones are perfect for brown skin, but other people tell me they can wash me out? I picked up some green dresses and some earthy tones, but at times, they feel a bit drab?? I just want to know what those colors for brown skin are really supposed to be! Is it just about matching or does it depend on undertones too? Did anyone else get mixed signals when figuring this out? I'm getting ready for an event and just need a bit of clarity. What colors for brown skin would you recommend?
