I am really struggling with my skin lately!! It's been getting extremely dry, like painfully so, especially during the winter months. I live in this really cold area and I wake up every morning with patches that feel tight and super flaky. I tried some over-the-counter lotions but they only work for like an hour, then it's back to this dry, itchy mess. I even saw my doc who suggested moisturizers but honestly, they just don’t seem to cut it. I thought about trying some home remedies for extremely dry skin because I'm tired of feeling like a lizard! I've heard things like coconut oil, honey, and oatmeal baths could help but like, how do u even use them? Are there any particular home remedies for extremely dry skin that actually work? My friend mentioned something about avocado but I'm not sure how that fits in either. Are there specific home remedies for extremely dry skin that might target this miserable tightness? I’ve got to do something before it drives me crazy! Any suggestions would be awesome, thanks!!
