I am trying to figure out what colour for dark skin tone suits me best. I’m attending a wedding this weekend and I have no idea what to wear! Last time, I picked a light yellow dress, and it just fell flat, looking kinda washed out against my skin. Honestly, I felt more like a traffic cone than stylish, ugh! I thought of going for jewel tones this time but then I wonder if that’s too risky?? I’ve heard things like royal blue or emerald green are great colour for dark skin tone? I want to make a statement but not look like I'm trying too hard, ya know? I feel like I need a bit of advice from you all. Have you found any specific colour for dark skin tone that just pops, or should I stick with something classic like red? What about patterns, do they work or do they just confuse the colour for dark skin tone? I guess I’m second-guessing myself and would really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
