I am really struggling with my weight lately, and I think it might have something to do with my metabolism. I've always been a little on the heavier side, but the last few months have been awful! One day I was feeling fine, and the next, my clothes were tight and nothing seemed to work to help me lose even a little. I feel like my metabolism is like a furnace just burning through everything. I can't stop thinking about how to reduce metabolism somehow, because I’ve heard from a friend that lowering metabolism can help with weight loss. Is that even a thing?? I've tried those fancy diets with low calories, but honestly, the scale hasn’t budged. I even went to the doctor and she mentioned metabolism, but didn’t really explain how to reduce it or if it was possible. It sounds odd, but is there really a way to slow it down? Or am I just chasing my tail here? I mean, what about exercise—does that rev up my metabolism? That feels unfair! Like, if I'm focused on how to reduce metabolism, shouldn’t I then take it easy? Pls help, I’m getting really frustrated and just want to feel comfortable in my own skin again. Any advice on how to reduce metabolism would be super helpful!
