Area of specialization: | I am specialized in arthroscopy, arthroplasty and trauma care, which means my work often moves from minimally invasive procedures to major joint replacements and also sudden emergencies after accidents. Arthroscopy is where I use small keyhole techniques to diagnose and treat ligament injuries, meniscus tears and sports related joint issues. It looks simple from outside since cuts are tiny, but inside the joint it needs steady hand and full concentration.
Arthroplasty is the part where I replace damaged joints, usually hip or knee, for patients with arthritis or long term wear. Planning is big here—choosing the right implant, alignment, getting stability—all this decides how well a patient walks after. Watching someone who couldn’t climb stairs slowly regain independence is one of the most satisfying parts of my work.
Trauma keeps me alert because it is unpredictable. Fractures, dislocations, complex injuries, sometimes in the middle of night—these cases test both judgment and stamina. You have to stabilise first, then reconstruct, and sometimes make decisions in seconds without perfect clarity. Still, bringing back function after such injuries feels worth all the effort. |
Achievements: | I am completed fellowship training in robotic joint replacement and arthroscopy, which gave me exposure to advanced techniques beyond routine surgery. Working with robotics taught me about precision, alignment and how technology can really improve outcomes in hip and knee replacements. Arthroscopy part of fellowship helped refine my skills in minimally invasive procedures for ligament or meniscus injuries. That mix of robotics and scope based work shaped my confidence as an ortho surgeon!! |
I am an orthopaedic surgeon working mainly in trauma, arthroplasty and arthroscopy. My work usually moves between emergency cases where every minute matter, and planned surgeries where precision and long term outcomes are the focus. In trauma I manage fractures, joint injuries, complex bone repairs, often meeting patients in their most difficult moments after accidents or falls. Those situations require fast decision making, balancing stabilisation with planning the right surgical intervention. Arthroplasty is another big part of my practice, doing joint replacement surgeries for patients with advanced arthritis or joint damage. These procedures demand careful pre-op planning, selection of implants, and a detailed approach in operation theatre. The best part is seeing patients who struggled to even walk properly slowly regain mobility and confidence in daily life. Some recover quick, others take longer, but each success reminds me why I chose this specialty. With arthroscopy I focus on minimally invasive joint surgery. It allows diagnosis and treatment through small incisions, reducing recovery time, pain, and hospital stay. Sports injuries, ligament tears, meniscus problems – these are common cases I handle. Working with arthroscopy also taught me patience, because though the cuts are small, the precision required is very high. I try to maintain a balance between clinical care and communication. Patients often come with doubts about surgery, fear of recovery, or questions about implant safety. I take time to explain procedures in simple words, sometimes repeating until they feel reassured. I also make it clear that surgery is not always the first solution – conservative management is considered whenever possible. My approach is to combine evidence-based surgical techniques with a patient-centered attitude. At the end, orthopaedics is not only about fixing bones and joints, it is about restoring independence, mobility, and quality of life. Each case adds to my learning, and I see myself evolving with every patient I treat.
