Area of specialization: | I am an orthopaedic surgeon mostly working with joint, bone and spine-related issues — kinda always been drawn to the mechanical side of the body, like what happens when movement just *stops* working right. I focus a lot on trauma cases, degenerative joint problems, and fracture fixations, though sometimes it’s sports injuries or weird shoulder complaints that show up outta nowhere. Some days are all about OT planning for total knee replacements, and others are just... endless rounds of follow-ups where we tweak meds and physio plans to avoid surgery altogether.
Surgery's not always the first answer btw. I try to keep that line between conservative treatment and when to operate pretty clear — there's a time for rest, time for rehab, and yeah, sometimes a time for the OT table. But my aim’s always been to get ppl back to walking, working, or playing — whatever they used to do without pain dragging them down everyday. I kinda like that part, being involved from diagnosis to full recovery... not just cutting and disappearing. And yeah, I do spend time explaining scans, treatment logic, even the tiny screws in the x-rays — patients deserve to *get* what’s going on in their own body. |
Achievements: | I am someone who keeps learning — finished my M.B.B.S. and then did M.S. in Orthopaedics, that’s where the real spark started honestly. Went on to get certified with FISM and F. Rheum, kinda wanted to dive deeper into rheumatology and sports injury side of things. Got my FIFA Sports Diploma too which helped with understanding athlete care better — way diff from regular ortho. Also a member of AO Trauma, which is big in fracture management... sharpens your approach in emergencies for sure. |
I am working as a Consultant Physiotherapist and honestly it’s kinda wild how every day brings a different case — sometimes it’s spine rehab, other times post-op ACLs or just plain stubborn neck pain that won’t go away for months. I mostly deal with musculoskeletal and neuro cases, but I also dive into sports injuries and post-surgical care a lot. My sessions aren't cookie-cutter... I design them around what each patient really needs — like, we actually *talk* about their pain, what movements trigger it, how their day looks, even sleep stuff. Because pain ain’t just physical always. I also collab with doctors and surgeons (mostly ortho and neuro) to make sure rehab plans line up with the bigger medical picture. It’s not just about exercises, it's about building that recovery path that actually works long-term. Sometimes that means tweaking basic posture, other times it’s reprogramming how someone walks post-knee surgery. I do a lot of manual therapy, dry needling, cupping etc. — whichever feels right for the issue. And yeah, I also spend time explaining things — posture correction, desk setups, stretching hacks — all the boring stuff no one teaches but lowkey prevents 50% of problems. Had patients who were shocked how much their pain dropped just by changing one habit lol. Anyway, the goal’s always simple: get people to move better, feel stronger, and not have to depend on meds forever for relief... even if we gotta try a few different things to get there.
