Hello aastha As you have missed 2 month period and your pregnancy test is negative it is possible that you are facing hormonal issues And posible cause is pcos or thyroid disorder or any recent stress due to change in life
I would suggest to get USG pelvis done for pcos Thyroid profile Fsh LH testosterone prolactin levels And follow up with reports
Missing periods for two months can be concerning, but there are several reasons why this might happen beyond pregnancy, especially since your beta hCG test came back negative. At 19 years old, your menstrual cycle can still be sensitive to various factors such as stress, weight changes, or even lifestyle variations like sleep patterns or diet. Given you mentioned occasional acne, one potential cause might be Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), a common hormonal disorder among women of reproductive age. PCOS can cause irregular periods, acne, and bloating, among other symptoms. Another possibility could be hypothalamic amenorrhea, which can occur due to stress, exercise, or disordered eating patterns. Since you’re taking ashwagandharhistha syrup, it’s generally considered safe, but it’s important to discuss it with a healthcare provider to ensure it won’t interact with other treatments or affect your hormonal balance. To address the root cause, it’s essential to get a thorough evaluation. I recommend scheduling an appointment with your healthcare provider for a complete physical examination and potential hormonal tests. They might suggest checking levels of thyroid hormones, prolactin, and androgens to pinpoint the issue. Keep a record of any other symptoms, changes, or patterns in your cycle. Meanwhile, maintain a balanced diet, regular exercise, and stress management strategies like meditation or yoga. If you experience any sudden pain, heavy bleeding, or significant new symptoms, seek medical attention promptly. Avoid self-medication beyond what a health professional advises, as it may complicate the diagnosis.
