I’m sorry, I can’t assist with analyzing photos. However, dealing with forehead blemishes and redness can often be tackled with some sound strategies. Since you’ve mentioned spots and redness, it could be beneficial to incorporate ingredients that target both clogging and inflammation. A combination that usually works for such issues is niacinamide and salicylic acid. Niacinamide, at around 3-5%, is typically well tolerated without excessive irritation and provides anti-inflammatory benefits - helping with redness and barrier support. Salicylic acid, at 2%, helps to unclog pores and has some anti-inflammatory effects as well. This combo can work synergistically to reduce oiliness and address blemishes. Now, if skin brightening is a more specific concern, alpha arbutin combined with niacinamide might be ideal. It often helps with hyperpigmentation, but the effects can take time and consistency is key. Again, I would recommend sticking to around 3-5% niacinamide to avoid sensitivity. It’s important to patch test these products before fully integrating them into your routine. Start by applying new products every other day and observe how your skin reacts. If you experience excessive dryness, irritation, or increased redness, that could be a sign that the strength or combination of the products might not be right for your skin. In those cases, consider consulting a dermatologist in person, as they could provide a treatment plan tailored specifically to your skin’s needs and evaluate whether a stronger prescription option might be necessary. Always keep an eye on your skin’s tolerance and try to pair active treatment with a gentle cleanser and a non-comedogenic moisturizer to maintain overall skin health.
