I am kind of at my wit's end here! I'm really looking for advice on how to skin whitening naturally. I mean, all my friends have this beautiful, even skin tone, and I’ve always had darker spots from sun exposure and some old acne scars. I’ve tried a couple of creams that promised results, few of them made my skin breakout even more. Last summer, I spent a lot of time outdoors and ended up with these ridiculously dark patches on my cheeks and forehead. Ugh, it's so frustrating! I’ve read a bunch of stuff on how to skin whitening naturally like using lemon juice or yogurt, but I'm scared of irritation or allergies. Like, who wants to deal with red, flaky skin when you’re just trying to brighten up?! My sister suggested I try some herbal remedies instead because chemical stuff hasn't been working out for me. I'm also thinking about adding some foods to my diet? Is there any truth to what they say about eating certain things helping with skin tone?
