exfoliate face at home - #18800

Pari

I am feeling kinda lost with my skin lately and really need to get some advice. For the past few weeks, my face has been super dry and just looks kinda dull, you know? I read somewhere that I should exfoliate face at home to help with that, but I’m not really sure how to go about it without damaging my skin. I don’t want to buy a bunch of fancy products, so I was hoping for some home remedies or something that really works. A friend mentioned sugar scrubs and even oatmeal, which sounded good, but what if they irritate my sensitive skin? And how often can I exfoliate face at home without overdoing it? I've never done anything like this before. Honestly, I just want my skin to glow again and not feel like I’m putting a band-aid on a problem. Also, would you recommend doing it before or after washing my face? I’ve heard mixed opinions. I’m just confused about the whole process. Any tips or recipes for everyday stuff I can find in my kitchen? Like, I want to get this right and not mess it up more! Thanks in advance for your help!
