Doctors’ responses

Dark circles and premature graying can be affected by factors like genetics, lifestyle, and nutritional deficiencies. Since you’ve been doing night shifts, your sleep cycle might be disrupted, contributing to dark circles. Try to improve the quality of your sleep by ensuring a regular schedule, sleeping in a dark room, and perhaps considering blackout curtains or a sleep mask. This might help over time. Hydrate well and consider using eye creams with ingredients like caffeine to reduce the appearance of dark circles. Regarding your hair greying and its dry, frizzy nature, early greying is usually genetic, but stress and nutrient deficiencies can exacerbate it. Ensure that your diet includes adequate vitamins and minerals, particularly B vitamins, zinc, copper, and iron, as deficiencies can worsen hair conditions. Adding foods like leafy greens, nuts, and seeds or even a multivitamin may help. To tackle the dryness and frizziness, use a good quality conditioner after every shampoo and consider hair masks or oils like argan or coconut oil weekly to lock in moisture. Avoid excessive heat styling and use heat protectants when necessary. About hair thinning and hair fall, ensure you’re washing your hair regularly to keep the scalp clean, but not daily to avoid stripping natural oils. Scalp massages could help stimulate blood flow and potentially encourage growth; use fingertips gently with a nourishing oil. If these issues continue, consider seeing a dermatologist. There might be underlying causes like androgenetic alopecia or other hair disorders needing professional interventions.
