Doctors’ responses

Dr. Neeraj Agarwal
I’m an MBBS graduate with a deep commitment to providing meaningful, patient-first care. My clinical training has given me a solid understanding of how to assess and manage a wide variety of health conditions—both common and complex. But beyond just clinical skills, I’ve always believed that the heart of medicine lies in listening. That’s what I try to bring into every consultation: not just treatment, but genuine attention to the person in front of me. I have gained experience across general medicine, paediatrics, emergency care and preventive health. I have treated patients of different age groups and backgrounds, which has helped shaped a more flexible, to diagnosis and management. Whether someone comes with a new symptom or a routine check-up, I aim to deliver evidence-based treatment, explained clearly and tailored to the lifestyle. I’m especially focused on making care accessible and comfortable. Too often, patients feel rushed or confused when they leave a doctor’s office—I try to do the opposite. Taking time to explain options, risks, or even just what’s going on in simple terms is something I take seriously. Communication, I think, is just as important as any prescription. I actively stay updated with current medical guidelines and research, and I’ve been exploring areas of holistic care and preventive medicine too. The more we can do to catch problems early—or better yet, avoid them—the better the outcome for everyone. I’ve seen how small lifestyle changes, when supported properly, can make a big difference to long-term health. There’s still a lot to learn, of course. I think every good doctor keeps learning. But every patient I see teaches me something new, and I carry those lessons forward—with honesty, empathy, and the intent to keep improving.

The reason of your dandruff is oily skin so avoid oiling and keep it minimal And for your color i would suggest that is because tanning so will suggest you like detan O3 for detanning and apply sunscreen lotion 30++over your exposed areas

When dealing with oily skin, acne, and uneven skin tone, it’s important to address each concern with targeted strategies. For oily skin and acne, using a gentle cleanser twice a day can help manage excess oil without overdrying the skin. Look for products containing salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide, but introduce them gradually to avoid irritation. Maintaining a daily skin routine with non-comedogenic and oil-free products can further reduce acne breakouts. Moisturizing is still important even if your skin is oily; opt for a lightweight, water-based moisturizer.

When it comes to faded skin color or uneven skin tone, exfoliation might help. Use a mild exfoliating product once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture. Ingredients like alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) might help brighten the skin over time. And don’t underestimate the role of broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30, as it protects the skin and can prevent further discoloration and hyperpigmentation.

Addressing dandruff often involves using a medicated shampoo containing compounds like ketoconazole, selenium sulfide, or zinc pyrithione. Make sure to leave the shampoo on for a few minutes before rinsing for maximum effect. Regular and consistent use can help control dandruff over time.

For persistent or severe concerns, consult with a dermatologist. They might recommend prescription treatments or interventions better tailored to your specific needs. Balancing your diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables, and water intake, along with adequate rest and stress management, can further benefit overall skin health. Be cautious with homemade remedies and avoid over-washing, which may disrupt skin balance and worsen issues.
