To achieve clearer skin and manage your oily complexion, use a gentle, non-comedogenic cleanser twice daily, which helps remove excess oil without stripping your skin. Incorporate a salicylic acid-based exfoliant to target blackheads and whiteheads, using it 2-3 times per week. However, salicylic acid can be drying, so it’s key to moisturize afterward with a light, oil-free moisturizer. For milia, consider a retinoid cream, which can speed up cell turnover. Protect your skin from darkening further by applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily, even if it’s cloudy outside. Since you mentioned your skin is more oily with open pores, avoid heavy makeup that could aggravate your skin issues. For improving hair health and reducing hairfall, ensure you’re not using a harsh shampoo—look for sulfate-free versions that won’t strip your scalp of natural oils. Massage your scalp regularly to stimulate blood flow and consider using a shampoo with niacinamide or a conditioner with biotin. As your diet plays a role in hair health, ensure you’re consuming enough protein, iron, and omega-3 fatty acids, which are crucial for hair growth. If hairfall persists, it’s sensible to consult a dermatologist as it might be due to an underlying condition like hormonal imbalance. Addressing your sleep is vital too: aim to synchronize your body’s natural sleep-wake cycle by going to bed and waking up at the same time daily. Limit your caffeine intake and screen use before bed, as both can disrupt melatonin production. These adjustments can help stabilize your sleep cycle and contribute to overall health. It’s also advisable to manage stress through techniques such as exercise or mindfulness. If after trying these steps, the problems persist, consider consulting with a healthcare provider to further evaluate potential causes and more personalized treatment options.
