Remove face marks - #11838

I am super frustrated right now because I've been dealing with these face marks for ages. It all started after I had really bad acne last year, which I thought was under control. But now, even though the breakouts have stopped, these weird face marks are still hanging around like they’re invited to my skin party! I’ve tried all sorts of creams and home remedies, even some that I thought would help remove face marks – like those lemon juice concoctions and exfoliating scrubs. I read somewhere that sun exposure makes it worse but guess what? I applied sunscreen religiously but the marks seem to thrive! It’s like they’ve set up camp on my cheeks and I can't figure out how to get them to leave! I went to the derm and asked about treatments to remove face marks, but the suggestions felt pretty overwhelming. There’s talk of peels, laser treatments, etc. I mean, are those really effective? Do those options even help remove face marks for good? Anyone out there been in the same boat? Any better remedies or tricks that’s worked for you? I just wish I could find a clear path to just normal, clear skin again!
