Which yoga improves liver function? - #12412
I am really frustrated right now, trying to figure out how to better my liver health. A couple of months ago, I got some test results back that showed my liver function isn’t great – my doctor mentioned some levels were elevated, which made me panic a little. I’ve been making changes to my diet, cutting out junk food and drinking more water, but I want to add in some kind of exercise. I’ve been hearing about yoga and its benefits for overall health, but honestly, I have no clue about which yoga improves liver function? I joined a beginner class last week and thought it was fun, but it also made me realize there are so many poses and styles! Like, does stretching help detox the liver or is it more about specific poses? My friend told me down dog is good for that, but I don’t know… Is it more about the breathing or what? I’m doing my best here, but I feel overwhelmed and just want to make sure I'm choosing the right type of yoga that really impacts my liver positively. Any advice from all of you who know more about this stuff would be super helpful!
