I am in a bit of a bind here, just got diagnosed with dengue and honestly, the last week has been a total mess. I’ve been feeling super weak, like, really tired and my joints hurt so much it's hard to move sometimes. Plus, I keep getting these high fevers, and I just started getting this rash which is super itchy. Anyway, my family is really worried about what to feed me while I'm recovering. We usually eat a lot of non-veg, you know? But, I keep hearing conflicting info about diet during dengue. Like, can we eat non veg in dengue? Some friends told me to avoid it entirely, saying it could make my symptoms worse or something, and I dunno if that's true. I mean, I feel like I could really use some protein to help me heal! But then again, I also feel scared that maybe non-veg would make my health even worse or slow my recovery? My mom is pushing for chicken soup since she thinks it’s good, but I’m still unsure if it does help or if I should stick to rice and veggies. Can we eat non veg in dengue or is it better to just not touch it at all? Any advice would help, because I feel lost right now, and just wanna get back to normal!
