I am seriously struggling with my skin lately, and I need some advice from you all. A couple of weeks ago, I started experimenting with different face mask products cause I heard aloe vera is amazing for your skin. I read somewhere that a face mask with aloe vera can be super hydrating and soothing, right? So, I bought this jar of pure aloe vera gel and mixed it with some honey as I thought that would help my skin a lot. Initially, my skin felt great! Like, really soft and smooth. But then, a few days in, I noticed some redness around my cheeks and a little itching—like, what the heck?! I’m guessing it’s from the face mask with aloe vera cause I literally changed nothing else in my routine. I usually have sensitive skin, and I’m getting worried cause I wanted to use this face mask with aloe vera regularly for its benefits, but now I’m not sure. What do you think? Is it possible to be allergic to aloe vera?? Or maybe I’m using too much? I was really hoping a face mask with aloe vera could help me combat some issues I've been having, but now I’m second-guessing everything. Should I just stop using it or try mixing it with something else? Would love some insights!
