how to remove holes on face - #13613

Pooja

I am really struggling with this issue and need some advice on how to remove holes on face. A few months ago, I had a pretty bad breakout, and after the acne cleared up, I was left with these annoying holes on my cheeks, like pockmarks or something. I swear, they are driving me crazy! I’ve tried a bunch of over-the-counter creams and even some home remedies, but nothing seems to help. I heard from a friend that some dermatologists can do procedures that might help with this kinda thing? But then I also read about natural options, like essential oils or even DIY masks. I honestly don't know what to believe. Does anyone know how to remove holes on face? Like, are there certain treatments that really work, or is it just a waste of time and money? What about laser treatments? Ugh, I’m kinda scared of that but can’t stand looking at my face this way any longer. I just want to feel normal again and not have to cover up with makeup all the time! Any suggestions on how to remove holes on face would be super appreciated. Thanks!

Dealing with scarring after acne can be really frustrating, but there are several modern treatments that could help improve the appearance of those pockmarks. It’s important to know that not all scars are the same — treatment often depends on the type of scarring. For example, acne scars can be ice pick, boxcar, or rolling scars, and each might benefit from different approaches. Here are a few options: Firstly, dermatologists often recommend procedures like microneedling or chemical peels, which aim to improve the texture and appearance of the skin by promoting collagen production. These treatments can be beneficial for less severe scarring, but results may vary person to person. Secondly, laser treatments are a more intensive option, like fractionated laser therapy, which can be effective but typically require multiple sessions and can be more costly. It’s normal to feel apprehensive about lasers, but a dermatologist can guide you based on your skin type and concerns. Thirdly, fillers may also sometimes be temporarily used to lift up depressed scars by adding volume, but these usually need to be repeated. Over-the-counter creams effectiveness is limited for deeper scars, though certain ingredients like retinoids and alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) might offer some smoothing benefits over time. As for home remedies and natural oils, they can occasionally provide some moisture and comfort but rarely improve scarring. It’s a good idea to consult a dermatologist to tailor a treatment plan; they can assess your skin and suggest the most effective options. Remember, good skincare maintaining consistency, sun protection, aiding healing, is crucial too. If you’re considering any treatment, even natural or DIY, it’s worth discussing it with a medical professional first to ensure safety and appropriateness for your skin type.
