detoxification in liver - #14575
I am really worried about my liver health right now. A few weeks ago, I started feeling super tired all the time, like no matter how much I slept, I never felt rested. I decided to go to the doctor since my dad had liver issues when he was younger, and I wanted to rule anything bad out. They did some blood tests and said my liver enzymes were a little high. The doc mentioned something about detoxification in the liver and how important it is for overall health. She suggested maybe doing a detoxification in liver support program, but I honestly have no clue what that even means. I’ve read a bunch of stuff online, but most of it sounds kinda sketchy. Like, is a detoxification in liver approach necessary for someone like me? Should I be eating special foods or avoiding certain things? I’m just scared because I don’t wanna end up like my dad. I heard things like milk thistle or dandelion are good but aren’t those herbal remedies? Do they actually help with detoxification in liver or are they just placebo? I have a lot of questions but I don’t even know if I am overthinking all this. How do I figure out what real detoxification in liver support looks like? Any advice would help!
