symptoms of heart related problems - #14889
I am really worried because I've been having some weird stuff going on with my body lately. For the past few weeks, I've been feeling this tightness in my chest, like when you drink something too fast or try to eat a piece of really dry bread, you know what I mean? Also, my left arm keeps feeling kinda heavy, and I get these funny twinges in my jaw – like, out of the blue, it just starts hurting and I’m not doing anything to cause it. I read somewhere that these could be symptoms of heart related problems, but I’m not sure if I’m just overthinking it. I had a stressful week at work, and I thought maybe that was causing these symptoms of heart related problems, like anxiety or whatever, but now I'm doubting myself. My mom had heart issues, so that's not helping my fears. I also sometimes feel dizzy or lightheaded – could that be a symptom of heart related problems too? I honestly thought I was just out of shape, but now I’m kinda freaking out because I don't want to ignore anything serious. Should I be super concerned about these symptoms of heart related problems, or is this just one of those things that will pass? I’d love to hear any advice or what others experienced if they had similar symptoms.
