is apple good for gastritis - #15273
I am trying to figure out if apple is good for gastritis because I’ve been struggling with this gastritis thing for a while now. It started a few months back – I was getting these awful burning sensations in my stomach and the doctor told me it was gastritis. I’ve been on medications and trying to change my diet, which is super hard cause I love food!! I heard that apple can be soothing, like maybe it helps with the inflammation or something? But then I also read that some people think it can make things worse like causing more acid or irritation. Ugh, what a dilemma! I've tried eating apples, you know, the slices with a bit of peanut butter, but sometimes it feels like my stomach just doesn't like it. Do any of you have experiences where apple is actually good for gastritis? Or would it be better to stay away and just go for some bananas instead? I really wanna find out what’s best so I can get a grip on my gastritis and feel more normal again! Do you think there’s a specific type of apple that’s better than others for gastritis or does it not matter? I’m just kind of lost and could use any wisdom here!
