liver pr sujan ke lakshan - #15299

Anya

I am really worried about my health right now. Few weeks ago, I started feeling really tired all the time, like I was dragging myself. Then, I noticed some yellowish tint to my skin and eyes, which freaked me out a bit. My mom had some liver problems, and she mentioned something about liver pr sujan ke lakshan. I didn't think much of it, but now I’m really concerned because I’ve also got this dull pain in my upper abdomen, especially after eating certain foods – like anything greasy. I read online that liver pr sujan ke lakshan can include swelling, but I’m not sure if the bloating I've been having counts. Also, I’m feeling nauseous quite a bit lately, like I want to throw up after meals, which I never felt before. Could all of this really mean liver issues?! I did some blood tests and waiting for results, but should I be worried about liver pr sujan ke lakshan? Should I be preparing myself for bad news? Any insights on what exactly I should look for? I’m just feeling really lost and anxious with all this going on. What do you guys think?

Doctors’ responses

Given your symptoms, it’s understandable to be concerned about liver health. The yellowish tint to your skin and eyes is called jaundice, often indicating an issue with your liver’s ability to process bilirubin. The tiredness, upper abdominal pain and nausea you’re experiencing can also point towards liver issues, though they’re not exclusive to liver conditions. Liver “sujan” essentially means liver swelling or inflammation, which often manifests with these symptoms, but not always with clear swelling or bloating that might be visible externally. One of the telltale signs of liver disease is an increase in liver enzymes, which your blood tests should reveal.

While waiting for the results, avoid alcohol and fatty or greasy foods as they can exacerbate liver issues. Try to maintain a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and consider discussing any over-the-counter or prescribed medications with your doctor, as some can affect the liver. If you notice symptoms like confusion, significant abdominal swelling, or severe fatigue, these can be serious, prompting immediate medical attention. While it’s natural to feel anxious, prepare to discuss your test results with your physician, as they can clarify the extent of liver involvement and suggest appropriate steps forward. If this is a flare-up of a chronic liver condition, early management and lifestyle adjustments often help improve outcomes. Your family history might suggest a predisposition, so informing your healthcare provider of any familial liver issues is crucial for diagnosis and management.
