I am really worried about these brown spots on my face that seem to be getting worse. About a year ago, I noticed a few small spots near my cheeks and forehead, and I thought maybe it was just sun damage, but now they’ve multiplied and darkened. I’ve tried some over-the-counter creams that say they help with skin discoloration, but nothing works! I even started wearing more sunscreen and a big hat when I'm outside, thinking maybe that would help, but these brown spots on my face just won’t go away. I went to a dermatologist, and she mentioned something about hyperpigmentation and suggested some treatments, but to be honest, I'm scared of going for stuff like lasers or chemical peels.
