what to do for healthy liver - #16009

Neil

I am really worried about my liver health. For the last few months, I've been feeling super sluggish and sometimes my stomach feels really bloated after meals. I did some blood tests, and my doctor said my liver enzyme levels are slightly elevated, which completely freaked me out. I don't drink much alcohol, just the occasional glass of wine, but I've noticed I've been eating a lot more fast food and sweets lately because of work stress. Now I keep searching what to do for healthy liver because I feel like I need to make some serious changes. I've heard that drinking more water and eating fruits and veggies can help and also, cutting down on fatty foods but I'm not sure where to start. Are there specific foods I should focus on or avoid? I came across info saying cutting out processed sugars is important too. Is it possible to turn things around quickly or is this going to take a long time? Also, how often should I be getting my liver checked, like is once a year enough? I keep questioning if I’m making the right choices or going in the right direction with what to do for healthy liver. Would love any advice from you all!
