I am kinda worried about my liver health and I keep hearing that is buttermilk good for liver function. I need to share a bit of background — a few months ago, I had a routine check-up and my doctor mentioned that my liver enzymes were slightly elevated. Nothing too alarming, but enough to make me think about what I’m eating. I like to think I eat decent, but lately I’ve been wondering about my dairy intake. I love buttermilk, like, I could drink it every day! I heard from a friend that is buttermilk good for liver health because of its probiotics or something? But then I read mixed things online about dairy being good/bad for liver health. Like, one website said it’s awesome while another warned against it. Confusing right? My mom used to say buttermilk is really good for digestion, and I wonder if that ties to liver function as well. I would really appreciate some clarity on this. So when we're talking about is buttermilk good for liver, like should I start drinking even more of it or cut back? Would love to hear thoughts from all the experts here!!
