I am feeling really stressed about this severe ear pain relief issue I’ve been dealing with for a few days now. It started out of nowhere, like I woke up with a sharp pain in my left ear. No clue what it could be! At first, I just thought it was maybe a little earwax build-up or something simple, but it just got worse. The pain is so intense that I can barely concentrate on work or even hear properly. I’ve tried over-the-counter pain relievers, but nothing seems to help. I was thinking maybe it’s an ear infection? I don’t have any cold symptoms or drainage, which makes it even more confusing. I went to my doctor and they mentioned something about possible fluid in the ear but didn’t give me much in terms of severe ear pain relief options. Has anyone found anything that really works for this kind of pain? I’ve read about warm compresses and salt water rinses, but I'm not sure if those are effective or just old wives' tales. Just looking for advice on what can actually bring some severe ear pain relief, because this is really affecting everything right now. Any suggestions would be super helpful.
