I am really struggling to understand what are the benefits of switching to a plant-based diet. A few months ago, I decided to give it a shot after my friend lost a ton of weight and claimed his energy levels skyrocketed! I didn’t really expect much at first, but now, I feel like I’ve hit a wall. I mean, I thought I’d feel amazing, but some days I’m just sooo tired, like more than before. I’ve been eating a lot of fruits and veggies, whole grains, and beans, but what are the benefits that I might not be seeing? I tried looking up info online, but it’s all very general and doesn’t address my situation, which is kinda confusing. I even got my blood work done and my doc said everything was normal, but I don’t feel normal!! Eating out has also become tricky, and I miss not having to think about every little thing I eat. What are the benefits others are experiencing? Do you think it’s possible I’m missing something crucial? I’d love some personal experiences or tips, like maybe specific foods that really helped boost your energy or mood. Just feeling a little lost here!
