what to drink to last longer in bed pills - #22165

Raj

I am really confused and kinda desperate right now. I’ve been trying to figure out what to drink to last longer in bed, but it feels like no one talks about it. I mean, I’ve tried a few “natural” pills that promised to help but honestly, nothing seems to work. Some friends mentioned that certain drinks can help, but like, what even should I be looking for? I was talking to my buddy the other day and he swore by some weird herbal concoction, said it made a huge difference for him. I tried a couple of energy drinks too, but they just made me jittery, ugh! Then there’s the whole thing about hydration — do I need to drink more water or cut down on caffeine? I just want to avoid those awkward moments in bed, ya know? I’ve even been reading about, like, what to drink to last longer in bed pills to see if those might actually work for me. Has anyone had success with specific drinks or something that’s not just, like, the same old ads? What do you guys recommend? I’m seriously lost here and just want to get it right!

Doctors' responses

When it comes to figuring out what to drink or take to last longer in bed, it’s important to focus on the underlying issues rather than quick fixes that may be ineffective and sometimes unsafe. Unfortunately, there isn’t a specific drink that reliably prolongs performance. Many over-the-counter supplements and “herbal” remedies often lack robust evidence, and some might even contain hidden ingredients which can be harmful. Energy drinks, for instance, typically contain high amounts of caffeine and sugar that can lead to increased heart rate and jitters, not really conducive to relaxation or extended performance.

Hydration is generally beneficial for overall health, but drinking more water isn’t directly linked to lasting longer in bed. It’s more important to maintain a balanced diet with adequate hydration, and moderate caffeine intake. Some research suggests that lifestyle factors like regular exercise, stress management, and avoiding excessive alcohol can support sexual health. Stress and anxiety often contribute to performance issues, so working on these aspects can be quite beneficial. Incorporating mindfulness techniques, or exercises like yoga which help improve overall body awareness and reduce stress, might also be beneficial.

If these aren’t making a difference or if you feel this is impacting your life significantly, it could be useful to speak with a healthcare provider. They can help identify potential underlying issues such as hormonal imbalances or psychological factors and guide you to evidence-based treatments. Certain medications prescribed under medical supervision or therapy can be effective in some cases. Your provider can also ensure that whatever options you choose, they’re safe and suitable given your health profile. Addressing the root cause, rather than symptoms, is always the best approach to lasting improvement.
