how increase sex time - #22594

Vikram

I am really worried about my performance and looking for advice on how increase sex time. My boyfriend and I have been together for a couple of years now, and while we love each other dearly, I've noticed that our intimacy phases are often way too short! Like, we could be having a romantic night, and I get excited, but then right away, it’s over. He doesn’t seem to mind too much, but I can’t help but feel a little self-conscious about it, y'know? I’ve tried talking to him about it, and he’s supportive, but I wanna make things last longer for both of us. It’s not that he’s rushing through things, it’s more like his stamina just isn’t great… sometimes I think maybe it’s stress or his diet or something like that? I’ve read some stuff online about how increase sex time can be achieved through certain exercises or bonding activities but I am not sure where to start. Are there any specific tips or tricks that have worked for others? Or maybe things to communicate with him that could help too? I just want us to be able to enjoy those moments without feeling like it’s over in a blink! Any advice is super appreciated!

To address concerns about increasing the duration of intimacy, it’s reasonable to explore a few strategies that might help. First and foremost, consider communication with your partner as an essential step. Discuss openly about your desires for a longer-lasting experience and listen to any feedback he might have about the situation. Now, from a medical standpoint, there are some practical approaches you can try. Focus on behavioral techniques such as the stop-start method or the squeeze technique which are designed to help with control over ejaculation timing. These methods require practice and patience, and can gradually increase duration. On a more physiological level, regular pelvic floor exercises, or Kegels, have shown benefit in improving control and stamina. Strengthening these muscles can be just as useful for men as they are commonly for women. Lifestyle factors like reducing stress, ensuring adequate sleep, and regular exercise are critical for overall health and could positively impact sexual performance too; stress in particular can impair libido and stamina. As for diet, ensuring a balanced intake of nutrients, maintaining a healthy weight, and avoiding excessive alcohol and smoking might also influence endurance positively. If these methods are not effective or if there are signs such as erectile dysfunction or significantly distressing premature ejaculation, consider seeking advice from a healthcare provider to rule out any underlying medical conditions and discuss potential treatments or medications that can be helpful, such as certain antidepressants or topical anesthetics, under medical supervision. Finally, remember that sexual fulfillment isn’t only about duration; exploring different forms of intimacy that foster closeness and bonding can contribute to a satisfying sexual relationship.
