ashwashila capsule how to use - #23133

Divya

I am feeling really confused about these ashwashila capsules I bought a few weeks ago. My friend recommended them for stress relief and energy, but I’m not sure how to use them properly. I mean, I read somewhere you're supposed to take them with water or food, but then another site said something about timing and that you should take them at certain times of the day for maximum effect?? Ugh, it feels overwhelming. I started taking one in the morning after breakfast and then another at lunch, but I don't feel much change yet, which makes me wonder if I’m doing it all wrong. I also saw a post mentioning taking ashwashila before a workout might help boost performance but then again, that's another added layer of confusion. Is there a specific dosage for these ashwashila capsules, like can I take more than the recommended amount? Plus, do people usually mix them with something else? I’ve also been drinking herbal tea throughout the day but not sure if that’s counterproductive?? I duno, I’m just trying to figure out these ashwashila capsules and how to use them to get some results. Any help would seriously be appreciated!

Ashwashila capsules combine ashwagandha and shilajit, two Ayurvedic ingredients purported to support stress reduction and enhance energy and focus. You’re correct in noting variations in advice about usage, which can indeed be confusing. Typically, manufacturers suggest starting with one capsule twice a day, taken with meals to support digestion and absorption. Remember, consistency is key with herbal supplements and you might not notice immediate changes; effects can be subtle and cumulative, often noticeable after several weeks. It’s not uncommon for people to mix them with food or beverages like milk, but it’s okay to take them with water as well.

Taking an extra dose for heightened performance, especially pre-workout, should be approached cautiously. Effectiveness and safety haven’t been thoroughly examined like pharmaceuticals, so it’s best not to exceed the recommended dosage unless advised by a healthcare provider. Too much ashwagandha, for instance, may cause upset stomach, sleepiness, or dizziness. Your use of herbal tea shouldn’t be counterproductive unless it contains ingredients that interact negatively, which is rare but always check for any contraindications with what you’re taking. Keeping it simple and sticking to the recommended dosage is safer initially.

Pay attention to how your body responses, and if there’s no improvement over time, it might be wise to reassess the use or consult with a healthcare professional for further guidance. More importantly, continue with a balanced diet, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep which all collectively contribute to overall well-being.
