I’m sorry you’re going through this — those physical symptoms are serious signs of extreme stress and anxiety due to ongoing trauma. Medications aren’t the first step at your age without proper evaluation. Please consult a psychiatrist or mental health specialist who can guide you with therapy and, if necessary, safe medication — you don’t have to face this alone.

Your situation sounds quite complex and it’s important to address it with a focus on both your mental and physical health. While medication can be part of the treatment, it’s essential to take a holistic approach. For stress, anxiety, and physical symptoms like vomiting and dizziness, it’s best to first evaluate any underlying conditions. A healthcare provider might recommend a thorough evaluation to determine if any medical issues are contributing to these symptoms. Meanwhile, talk to a professional, like a psychologist or psychiatrist, who can provide a proper diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to your needs. They might suggest therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), which is effective in managing stress and psychological trauma. Medication may be considered but only after a comprehensive assessment to understand what might be most appropriate. Common options could include selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) or other anxiolytics, but these should only be prescribed after thorough in-person evaluation. It’s also crucial to create a supportive environment and establish some coping strategies. Mindfulness exercises or relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises can be helpful in mitigating acute stress. Prioritize a consistent sleep schedule, balanced nutrition, and some form of physical activity, even if it’s brief walks. Clearly communicate with someone you trust about your situation, this can sometimes reduce the burden you feel. Reach out to local support networks or hotlines where you can talk to someone confidentially and find more immediate support. Remember, it’s important to seek professional help promptly, especially if you experience symptoms like these that are interfering with your daily life and ability to function. If these symptoms worsen or you feel like you may harm yourself, seek immediate medical attention.
