why we use hair serum - #24577
I am really curious about why we use hair serum. My hair has been feeling so dry and frizzy lately, like no matter how much conditioner or oil I use, it just doesn't seem to help. I read somewhere that using hair serum could make a difference, but I'm not entirely sure how it works. I mean, I’ve tried a few products that say they’re serums, but they seem no different from my regular leave-in treatments. Like last week, I used this one that was supposed to be extra moisturizing, but honestly, my hair was still poofy, and I don't think it gave me any shine, ugh! Friends tell me that hair serum can really transform hair, but I'm wondering if that’s just marketing hype? Is there a specific type of serum that works better for certain hair types? And how often should we actually be using it? Like, is it a daily thing or just when I need something special? I really want to understand why we use hair serum and if it's worth the investment since some of them can be pricey! Do they actually protect hair from heat damage? Do they help with split ends too or is that just wishful thinking?
