is honey good for liver repair - #24511
I am worried about my liver health after reading so much contradicting info lately. A few months ago, I started feeling really fatigued and occasionally had this weird pain in my upper abdomen, thought I was just stressed or something and didn’t pay much attention to it. But then my doctor did some blood tests and said my liver enzymes were elevated. I’ve been trying to eat healthier, and I heard somewhere that is honey good for liver repair, like, can it really help? I mean, I love honey and put it in my tea but didn’t know it could actually do something for my liver health. Has anyone else tried using honey for this? Found a lot of articles that go on about its antioxidant properties and stuff but also some that say it could be too much sugar for the liver? I’m kind of feeling lost here. Is it just a myth that is honey good for liver repair? Or should I be including it in my diet more? I just want to make sure I’m doing the right thing!
