Hello Jatin,
What you have mentioned are probably dark circles.
What you should do is,
Fix your sleep schedule, 7-8 hrs sleep per night and fix the timings of sleeping and waking up.
Have a balanced, protein rich, high fiber diet. Include protein sources like paneer, peanuts, chana, groundnuts, etc. Eggs and chicken if you eat non-veg. Include fiber with salads like cucumber, beetroot, tomatoes.
Avoid junk foods, or limit that to once per week.
If you can, then add a exercise routine to your day, even 30 mins exercise will help you a lot.
Lastly, this is a prescription from my side if you can take, it’ll help -
1. Re’equil Under Eye Cream or Olay Eye Cream with Vit-C and Niacinamide or Himalaya Under Eye Cream. 2. Tab. Multivitamin once daily × 3 months 3. Tab. Vitamin-C 500 mg once daily for 20 days.
You’ll be able to see improvement if you follow all this with discipline.
Feel free to reach out again.
Regards,
Dr. Nirav Jain MBBS, DNB D.Fam.Med

Persistent under-eye darkness can be caused by genetics, lack of sleep, stress, dehydration, anemia, or pigmentation issues. While lifestyle improvements like adequate sleep, hydration, balanced diet, and gentle eye care can help, a dermatologist or physician can evaluate for underlying causes and suggest treatments like topical agents or procedures if needed. Please consult a dermatologist for personalized assessment and management.
First of all stay without stress sleep for atleast 7 to 8 hrs, its better to sleep before 9PM if u are sleeping at 12 and waking up after 8 hrs is not a good sleep always choose the bed time atleast before 9 and stop using gadgets 2hrs before sleep! I will share some home remedies try mix turmeric with cocunut oil apply under eyes leave for 15 to 20min and then wash with cold water, appy potato juice around eyes!
Dark circles under the eyes can often be frustrating and are sometimes multifactorial. They might be caused by a combination of fatigue, allergies, genetics, or lifestyle factors. Addressing them involves a mix of identifying any underlying causes and implementing realistic lifestyle adjustments. If you’re sleep-deprived, focusing on getting a consistent 7-9 hours of sleep each night can be beneficial. Elevating your head slightly with extra pillows may help reduce puffiness by preventing the pooling of fluid. Hydration is equally important. Ensuring adequate water intake can improve the appearance of your skin and reduce dark circles indirectly by improving circulation. If allergies might be the culprit—often accompanied by itching or watery eyes—managing these with over-the-counter antihistamines or consulting with a doctor for a prescription could be useful.
Diet can also play a role; include plenty of fruits and vegetables, particularly those high in vitamin K and C, like spinach and citrus fruits. Sunscreen should be part of your everyday routine to protect the sensitive under-eye area from UV rays, which can worsen pigmentation. Consider using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30, applied gently to the area daily. If topical treatments appeal to you, look for products containing caffeine, vitamin K, or retinol, as these can boost circulation and improve elasticity.
In some cases, underlying health issues like anemia could contribute to the problem. A blood test to check for iron deficiency anemia might be warranted if you’re experiencing fatigue alongside those dark circles. For immediate cosmetic concerns, concealers specifically designed for under-eye use can offer temporary relief. Should these changes not yield improvement, consider seeing a dermatologist or healthcare provider who can offer more targeted treatments such as laser therapy or fillers.
Ultimately, the approach should be rooted in modifying any identified causes while ensuring all treatments and lifestyle changes are suitable for your individual situation.
