Hi Haniya,
This looks like an infected hair follicle/early small boil related to shaving and irritation in the armpit.
You can take tablet Amoxyclav 625 mg three times a day for 5 days after food, and complete the full course as prescribed.
If pain, redness or swelling increases, pus collects, or you get fever or feel unwell, see a local doctor or dermatologist urgently.

When a pimple-like bump appears in the armpit after shaving, it’s often due to folliculitis, which is an inflammation of the hair follicles typically caused by bacteria or irritation. Shaving can cause tiny cuts or abrasions that introduce bacteria into the skin, leading to the development of these bumps. Ingrown hairs, where the new hair curls back into the skin instead of growing outward, are another possibility. This is common in areas that are shaved frequently, as the hair is cut at an angle that encourages it to grow back into the skin. In your case, it sounds like either of these conditions could be the culprit, given the timing with shaving and hair regrowth. Initially, ensure the area is kept clean and dry. You might consider applying a warm compress to the affected area for 10-15 minutes several times a day, as this can help reduce discomfort and encourage drainage if the bump is filled with pus. Over-the-counter topical antibiotics or antiseptic solutions might be beneficial, but it is important to avoid popping or squeezing the bump, as this can worsen the infection or cause scarring. If there’s no improvement within a few days or if you notice worsening symptoms like increasing redness, swelling, spreading pain or if you develop fever, it would be wise to seek medical attention. These could be signs of a more significant infection or abscess that may require additional treatment such as prescription antibiotics. To prevent future occurrences, consider using a sharp, clean razor and shaving in the direction of hair growth, as well as applying a non-comedogenic moisturizer and an antibacterial shaving gel or cream to reduce irritation and infection risks.

Hello Haniya It sounds like you’ve developed a common issue called a shaving bump or possibly a folliculitis(inflammation of a hair follicle) under your arm. This can happen when shaving causes minor irritation or when bacteria enter tiny cuts, leading to a painful, pimple-like bump.
What you can do: - Keep the area clean and dry. Gently wash with mild soap and water. - Avoid shaving the area until it heals. - Apply a warm compress for 10–15 minutes a few times a day to help reduce pain and swelling. - Don’t squeeze or pick at the bump, as this can worsen irritation or cause infection.
Rx- Ointment Beclomethasone, Neomycin, and Clotrimazole ( BNC cream) - two time a day
Thank you
