how to use coconut oil for dandruff - #24163

Aradhya

I am seriously struggling with dandruff lately, like super frustrating! I’ve tried a bunch of shampoos and stuff, but nothing seems to work long-term. A friend mentioned how to use coconut oil for dandruff and I’m really curious because I’ve heard it can help with dry scalp. I mean, I always thought coconut oil was just for cooking or making my hair smell nice, but now I feel like I gotta know more. I tried mentioning it to my doctor but he just kinda brushed it off, like it’s no big deal. I keep wondering how to use coconut oil for dandruff effectively. Do I just rub it on my scalp and leave it overnight? Or should I mix it with something else? Also, how much should I use? Like, a spoonful? A whole cup? Do I have to wash it out after? Sometimes I feel like I put too much and it just makes my hair look greasy and I don’t want that, lol. Oh, and do you think all coconut oil is the same? Should I get the fancy organic kind or is regular good enough? Any tips from people who really know how to use coconut oil for dandruff would be awesome, thanks!
