Dr. Neeraj Gandhi
Experience: | 6 years |
Education: | Babu Banarasi Das College Of Dental Science |
Academic degree: | DDS/DMD (Doctor of Dental Surgery / Doctor of Dental Medicine) |
Area of specialization: | I am mostly into root canals—whether it's single or multi sitting types—and kinda love the detail it needs. I also do crown & bridge work pretty regularly, including PFM, zirconia and few others depending on what's really needed. Smile designing has been picking up too, like veneers & whitening cases where ppl want quick but solid results. It’s tricky sometimes, cause what looks good to me might not feel right to them—takes a bit of back-n-forth.
I also handle full mouth rehabs when needed, though those take time, planning and patience. For implants, I do the basic placement and work on the prosthetic bit too. With kids, I try to be calm lol—things like ECC management & preventive care are part of my regular days. Some are scared to sit, some don't care...it’s a mix.
Extractions? Yes, both simple & surgical types, depends on the case really. I also work with dentures, complete or partial types, for patients who need replacements. Cleaning is done using ultrasonic scalers (I actually prefer that over manual now) and fluoride apps when necessary.
Oh, and I do rely a lot on x-rays for case planning, especially when symptoms don’t match the clinical signs. Sometimes the clue’s hiding in the image! I think my specialty kinda sits at the middle of comfort care & long term restoration. I try to not overdo stuff unless it’s clearly needed. |
Achievements: | I am someone who actually care about how my work impacts ppl in real life—not just on paper. I was recognised for my clinical work n overall efficiency during my time at The Dental Home Academy, Delhi, which kinda validated the effort I put in daily. Patients often say they feel safe and comfortable with me whether it’s for smile designing or a complicated molar RCT (the tricky one with all those roots). Also worked independently on full mouth rehab cases.. not easy but worth it. Took part in camps too, spreading awareness about oral hygiene in areas where it’s really neededd. |
I am a dental surgeon with a bit over 4 yrs of clinical hands-on work, mostly in multispeciality setups where things never stay still. My main focus is endodontics—yeah, root canals mostly—and honestly I kinda enjoy the precision of it. I also do extractions (simple to tricky ones), crowns, bridges, smile design stuff and I handle basic implant placement too. I'm not someone who likes to rush procedures. Like, I really do take time to explain what’s going on, what might work best & why we’re doing it that way. Working with kids & adults both has taught me a lottt about patience (especially the kids lol). I try to keep the whole process as comfortable and less anxious as possible. For me, ethics aren’t a side thing—they’re the center. If a treatment doesn’t need to be done, I tell it upfront even if it means the chair goes empty for that slot. Tech-wise, I use ultrasonic scalers regularly and rely on modern endodontic tools for accuracy. I kinda believe in keeping the instruments updated but not overcomplicating the basics. Proper diagnosis and treatment planning matter a lot to me, along with clear documentation—boring to some, but it actually protects the patient and the doctor both. Honestly, each patient brings a whole new puzzle—pain might be the same, but the story never is. That’s what keeps this field interesting. One root canal may be easy peasy, another might test your whole week’s patience. You never know. But I try to meet each one with the same focus, and do justice to the problem without rushing the outcome.
