Area of specialization:
I am someone who kinda always knew I’d land in pediatrics—guess the connection with kids just felt natural. I did my MBBS first (yeah, lots of sleepless nights and coffee runs), then went ahead with MD in Pediatrics which really deepened my understanding of child health. The journey was a mix of high-pressure emergencies, routine checkups, and those tiny newborns who somehow manage to teach you patience like nothing else. Later I trained in PECC—Pediatric Emergency Critical Care—and that changed a lot for me. Working in emergency settings isn’t just about acting fast, it’s about being sharp, calm and like fully present in each moment. The cases were varied—febrile seizures, respiratory distress, dengue complications, all that stuff that hits suddenly and needs solid hands-on approach. What I focus on now is a balance—between preventive child care and acute emergency pediatrics. Like yes, I care about milestones and nutrition... but I’m also ready for urgent interventions if things go sideways. And you won’t believe how often both come together in a single day. I still feel there’s lot to learn, each case adds something. Pediatric medicine keeps you grounded, I think, and kinda reminds you daily that small wins are big.
Achievements:
I am someone who really believe in learning by doing—got a gold medal at Central Zone Pedicon 2024 which honestly kinda caught me off guard but meant a lot. I'm a life member of IAP & NNF too, coz staying in loop with what’s happening in the pediatrics world really matters. Also published 4 papers in international journals, each one came from actual cases or doubts that kept nagging till I dug in. Writing is slow but worth it, sometimes more than we realise in the moment.

I am a pediatrician who kinda grew into medicine the long way—I completed my MBBS from Pt. JNM Medical College back in 2017, followed by internship in 2018 which felt like a whirlwind of wards, night shifts n’ figuring things out on the go. Right after that, I joined the Department of General Medicine at AIIMS Raipur... which was intense, but also gave me a lot of grounding in adult med before I fully leaned into my love for pediatrics. I went on to do my MD in Pediatrics (again from Pt JNM, kind of feels like second home by now) and wrapped that up in 2023. The training was solid. Lot of hands-on experience, from neonatal ICU to emergency pediatrics—seeing those tiny patients recover, that still hits different. Since then, I've worked as consultant across various govt and private setups. Some days it's OPD chaos, other times it's quiet follow-ups on growth & development or nutrition. I try to keep the approach simple—listen properly, explain clearly, treat gently. No overcomplication unless absolutely necessary. My work's taken me from big tertiary setups to smaller clinics, and that range kinda shaped how I practice. Like, I can handle a critical care scenerio, but I also really care about everyday parent doubts or vaccine queries—they matter equally, trust me. Right now, I balance between institutional consulting and my own clinical work. I try to stay updated with newer protocols and guidelines (but ya sometimes the tech stuff just refuses to load when you need it most lol). Anyway, point is—I’m always trying to mix solid academic grounding with practical, human pediatric care. That’s what I aim for.
