Experience:
4 years
Education:
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences
Academic degree:
MD (Doctor of Medicine)
Area of specialization:
I am working mostly in internal medicine for the last 6+ years, though the cases I handle kind of cross over into gastro, neuro, respiratory and endocrine zones too. Honestly, the way everything overlaps in adult medicine… one thing always links to another. I usually treat chronic conditions like diabetes, BP issues, asthma, COPD, thyroid, liver cirrhosis, stroke cases, epilepsyy, even HIV and TB—yeah, a pretty wide mix. What I’ve learnt is no two patients really present the same—even if diagnosis is same, how they react, recover or even just feel is totally diff. I like to deep dive a bit before deciding meds or management. Not everything fits into textbook rules. Sometimes, you just need to observe closely, ask more questions or go back to the basics again. I try keeping things balanced, like not overtreating but also not missing stuff you shouldn’t.
Achievements:
I am trying to keep learning while juggling practice tbh—got recognised as the runner-up at RSSDI Odisha 2019 for a paper on involuntary limb movement in non-ketotic hyperglycemia, which still sticks with me, that case series was wild. In 2023, Fox Story named me “Women Face of the Year,” bit surreal really. Done certifications in intensive care echo + lung USG, and few online stuff too like bioethics from Georgetown, tobacco control and even that diabetes reversal course by Leicester—just curiousity I guess. Published papers on dengue & hypocalcemia, EN, etc., mostly clinical stuff that felt worth digging into. Presented at APICON and RSSDI both—kinda stressful, but worth it.
