Area of specialization:
I am an orthodontist with a MDS in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, completed in 2023, where I spent a solid chunk of time learning and actually doing the diagnosis, prevention and correction of dental n skeletal malocclusions for patients across all age groups. I’ve handled cases from the “simple” Class I crowding to complex Class III, open bites, crossbites, cleft lip/palate, craniofacial anomalies, even ortho prep for orthognathic surgery. My clinical work includes fixed mechanotherapy (MBT & Roth), clear aligners from planning to finishing, growth modulation with functional appliances like Twin Block or Myobrace, using TADs for those stubborn tooth movements, and space management when esthetics are a key factor. I also work a lot on interdisciplinary cases—coordinating with prosthodontists and surgeons—coz some smiles need more than just braces to get them right. Along the way, I’ve been part of seminars, journal clubs, case discussions, and presented at state & national conferences. I’m drawn towards integrating newer tech—digital orthodontics, aligner systems, even bits of tissue engineering—into daily work, aiming for stable, functional and aesthetic results that actually last.
Achievements:
I am a orthodontist who completed my MDS in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2023, working through a wide mix of fixed, removable, and growth modulation cases that really tested both skill and patience. I keep learning on the go—been regualr at national & state-level IOS meets, workshops, scientific programs, picking up new techniques and sometimes unlearning old habits. Few of my works also got published in indexed journals, which feels nice but also keeps me thinking about what’s next to explore.

I am working as a consultant orthodontist post-MDS since 2023, mostly balancing between private practice and freelance cases. My work is pretty wide—from fixed appliance therapy to clear aligners and interceptive ortho for growing kids. I really enjoy the diagnosis and treatment planning bit, figuring out the mechanics that’ll actually work for each patient instead of just going by a standard template. I use advanced tools like TADs, functional appliances, and do space management in cases where timing and precision makes all the difference. A big part of my work is coordinating with other specialists—prosthodontists, periodontists, oral surgeons—especially for interdisciplinary cases where ortho is just one part of the bigger puzzle. I spend a lot of time explaining things to patients, walking them through the process, and stressing on compliance and oral hygiene, coz without that even the best treatment plan kinda falls apart. Before this, from 2017 to 2020, I ran my own practice as a general dental practitioner. Did pretty much everything—restorations, extractions, scaling, root canal treatments, pediatric care. That phase taught me not just the clinical skills but also how to actually listen to patients, build trust, and maintain a practice where hygiene protocols are followed strictly every single day. Both roles shaped how I work today—whether it’s adjusting a complex bite with micro-movements or calming a nervous child before a filling. Dentistry for me is not just about the tools in hand, but the patience, planning and adaptability you bring into every case.
