I am mostly into orthopedic trauma n fracture cases – that’s kinda where it all started for me. I deal with a wide range of bone and soft tissue problems, but yeah, over time I got more drawn toward joint issues too. Like chronic knee pain, shoulder troubles that won’t go away, things like that. I do a lot of arthroscopy for knee and shoulder – feels good when you can fix things without makin big cuts.. less pain for the patient, faster recovery. Joint replacement’s another core part of my work – mostly knees and hips, sometimes complicated revision stuff too, but not every pain needs a replacement.. some just need right rehab or sports medicine support, which I also manage depending on the case. Sports injuries are different y’know.. younger patients, diff expectations, you really gotta be careful with return-to-play plans etc. Sometimes, trauma patients come in totally messed up from a bad accident, and the first few hrs make all the diff. It’s fast thinking but also precision. Not every fracture’s same, even if X-rays look alike. Guess what I try to do is not rush — like yeah I know the protocol, but I still wanna figure your case properly. Anyway, that’s the mix of what I do. Might’ve missed a comma or two there lol.
Achievements:
I am not really the award-type doc, to be honest. I kinda focus more on the work itself than collecting shiny stuff for the shelf. That said, I did attend the BCBR course which really gave some solid insights into orthopedic basics that actually stick with you. Also participated in the national trauma managment course — lots of practical cases, fast-paced thinking, really sharpened my skills. Not glamorous maybe, but for me these kinda hands-on things matter more than paper certificates!!

I am a orthopedic surgeon, mainly workin with joints, bones, and all those soft tissue troubles that kinda mess with how people move or just live daily life. I did my MBBS from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad – it was a solid foundation, tho I won’t pretend it wasn’t hectic. After that, I went through residency in orthopedic surgery at Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College & SVPIMSR Hospital, which was intense but totally worth it. That’s also where I realized I was really drawn to joint replacement and arthroscopy – just the technicality of it, and how much it can change someone’s life. Went deeper into that with advanced fellowship training. It’s been over 3 years now treating all kinds of orthopedic issues – sometimes surgery’s the way, but a lot of times non-surgical methods do wonders too. I try to not jump to the scalpel unless absolutely needed. Each case feels a bit different, even if the diagnosis sounds similar on paper, y'know? Patient care, for me, has to be personal. I genuinely believe listening is like half the treatment already. I stay involved with the Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA), Rajasthan Orthopedic Surgeons Association (ROSA) and Shekhawati Orthopedic Society (SOS – missed one meeting last year due to a case going long, still feel bad bout it). Conferences are my way of keeping up – not just for the updates, but hearing other surgeons share what worked and what really didn’t. I also had a research paper or two published – honestly, writing them was harder than surgery lol – but sharing what we see on-ground helps the whole community. If you’re someone dealing with joint stiffness, post-injury pain, or not sure if your knee needs replacement or just rehab, I’m here for that kind of conversation. No rush, no pressure, just clarity and figuring it out step by step. Not every discomfort means major surgery, and I really want patients to feel in control of their treatment choices.. even if things look confusing at first. Missed a couple commas here and there, but anyway — hope this gives a good picture of who I am n how I work.
