Area of specialization:
I am a qualified orthopaedic surgeon and most of my daily work goes around trauma cases, arthroplasty and arthroscopy. I handle fractures from accidents or falls, where timely stabilization is crucial, and I focus on giving patients back their mobility with proper follow up and rehab. In arthroplasty, I perform joint replacement surgeries like knee or hip, aiming for long term comfort and better quality of life. Arthroscopy is another key area I work in – using minimally invasive techniques to diagnose and treat joint problems like ligament tears or cartilage damage. I try to balance surgical precision with clear communication, making sure patients understand options before moving ahead. I also manage general ortho issues such as arthritis, spine strain and sports injuries, often combining conservative management with surgery when needed. For me, each case is not just about the bone or the joint, its about the person behind it, and I keep that in my mind while planning every treatment.
Achievements:
I am actively involved in organizing lot of medical camps over the years, reaching both rural and urban community where access to healthcare was limited. Thru these camps I got chance to diagnose and treat many conditions early, sometimes making real diff in patients life. My work in this area was recognised with several service awards, each one a reminder of why I choose this field. For me these awards are less about pride and more about encouragement to keep serving better.

I am an orthopaedic surgeon working at KIMS hospital in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, and over the years my work has been deeply tied with managing trauma, joint injuries and providing surgical as well as non surgical care for patients who walk in with wide range of musculoskeletal problems. Orthopaedics for me is not just about fixing broken bones, its about restoring mobility, dignity and sometimes confidence that ppl lose when pain takes over their daily life. My role at KIMS hospital keep me involved in trauma cases on a daily basis – from road accident injuries to fractures that need precise surgical management. I also see patients with degenerative conditions like arthritis and spine disorders, where the goal is long term relief and functional improvement, not just quick fixes. Arthroscopy and joint replacement surgeries are areas where I developed strong interest, and I constantly try to refine my techniques to make recovery easier and outcomes better. Another part of my work is with patients in outpatient setting, counseling them about preventive steps, physiotherapy, lifestyle adjustments and explaining when surgery is actually required versus when conservative treatment may be enough. I think honesty in these conversations build more trust than anything else. Being part of a multi speciality hospital also help me collaborate with colleagues across different departments, which adds more depth in patient care especially in complex cases. Working in Kurnool has shown me both urban and semi urban patient needs. Many still come late for treatment due to lack of awareness, and I try to focus on spreading basic knowledge about fractures, osteoporosis, or simple things like when not to ignore a knee pain. At the end of day, whether its performing surgery or guiding a family through recovery, my aim is always to make the patient feel supported, safe and understood.
