Doctor information
Experience:
4 years
Education:
IQ City Medical College
Academic degree:
MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
Area of specialization:
I am currently in my 2nd yr of MD pediatrics, working everyday with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. My training keeps me involved in managing common childhood illness like infections, asthma, nutritional issues, as well as more complex cases that need longer follow up. I spend lot of time in pediatric wards, NICU and OPDs, learning how to balance acute care with longterm monitoring. I really value the role of preventive pediatrics too—vaccination, growth tracking, guiding parents on diet and healthy habits, because these small steps make a huge diference in the child’s future health. Being a resident means handling night duties, emergencies and sometimes difficult situations, but it also give me confidence to think quick and act safe. Working with seniors and my team I get to learn advanced pediatric protocols while also developing my own judgement. Each case adds something new, sometimes just a reminder to listen carefully to parents, other times the importance of subtle clinical signs. My interest is moving towards combining evidence based care with empathetic support for both child and family, since I feel both are equally important in pediatrics.
Achievements:
I am proud that my work was recognised at Durgapur Pedicon 2024 where I got 1st prize for paper presentation. It was a big moment for me bcoz it showed that the effort I put into clinical research and clear communication really made sense to others also. Presenting in front of peers and seniors taught me how important it is to not just do good work but to explain it in a way that connects. This experience push me to stay more involved in academic side of pediatrics while also keeping focus on patient care.

I am a doctor who started my journey soon after internship, working in 2 hospitals for a brief period where I got first hand exposure to ward duties, OPD consults and emergency call management. Those months were hectic but they gave me solid ground in understanding how to prioritize cases and coordinate with different departments. Later I joined Aiqa Health where I worked for more than a year in telemedicine. That shift was unique, because treating patients virtually demand sharper skills in history taking, patience in listening and ability to guide without physical exam. It pushed me to focus on clarity in communication and to make quick but safe clinical decisions, which I feel has made me more attentive to details. After my NEET PG exam I joined Desun Hospital for 6 months. Working there brought me back into the rhythm of hospital-based care, dealing with acute cases, critical ward rounds and inpatient monitoring. I had chance to collaborate with seniors across multiple specialties and that gave me better insight into multi-disciplinary treatment planning. Those experiences also taught me to balance independence with team work, since some days required me to take decisions alone while other times it was about coordinating and learning from colleagues. Looking back I see my path as a mix of conventional hospital medicine and modern telehealth practice. Both areas have shaped me differently—hospitals sharpened my procedural skills and emergency response while telemedicine refined my counseling and diagnostic approach. Together they made me more adaptable and confident in handling diverse patient needs. I try to carry forward this balance in my practice today, aiming to provide care that is both thorough and compassionate, whether the patient is across a screen or right in front of me.
