I am an orthodontist and my work mostly deal with problems of malaligned teeth and jaws. Many patients come with forwardly placed teeth, backwardly positioned jaws, crooked teeth or spacing that affect not just looks but also function like chewing and speech. In such cases braces or aligners are the tools we use to correct alignment and bring balance to the smile. I always say orthodontics is not just about straigh teeth, it is about harmony between teeth, jaws and face. Over time I learned that no two cases are exact same, one patient may just need minor space closure while another require comprehensive jaw correction. I try to make treatment plans that are practical, evidence-based and at same time patient friendly, because I know wearing braces or aligners can be long journey. Whether it’s kids with developing jaws or adults seeking clear aligner therapy, my goal is to find the approach that fit best. I focus on detailed diagnosis first, checking bite, jaw relations and dental health, since a strong plan reduce complications later. Working on such variety of cases makes me more aware that orthodontics is a mix of science, art and patience. At the end I want patients to feel confident, comfortable and happy with their results, knowing the effort they put in was worth it.
Achievements:
I am proud to be a Gold Medalist in MDS Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics from BFUHS Punjab, and also secured 1st position in BDS final year with Univ rank 2. During my journey I recieved distinctions in all final yr subjects and awards like IDA student of the month, Best Paper at IOS PG Convention 2022, Best Poster in MDS exchange 2023. From chairing IDA Punjab conf to winning quiz n scholarships, each step shaped my skill in academics, research and patient care.

I am a consultant orthodontist working across multiple dental clinics in Punjab for the last 3 years, and being a gold medalist in my field is something that still push me to keep high standards every day. My practice mostly focus on orthodontic treatment – correcting malocclusion, aligning teeth, improving jaw relations – but I also look at the whole dental health picture because for me a straight smile is not just cosmetic, it’s about long term oral function and confidence too. Working with children, teenagers and adults give me a chance to see different challenges at each age, and I try to plan treatment that is not only clinically sound but also comfortable for the patient, since braces or aligners can be a long journey. I like to spend enough time in diagnosis stage, using detailed examination and proper records, because a good plan always make treatment smoother. My role as a consultant has also made me adapt quickly to different setups and patient groups, which sharpen my skills in communication and patient handling. Over the years I seen how small adjustments in approach – like explaining clearly, listening to the doubts, or easing anxiety during procedures – make a big difference in patient satisfaction. Being part of dental teams in different clinics expose me to a wider range of cases, from simple spacing to complex skeletal issues needing interdisciplinary care. This variety keeps my work engaging and reminds me that orthodontics is both science and art. My gold medal achievement was not just about marks but about discipline and consistency, qualities I still carry in my practice. At the end of the day, I aim to provide care that is evidence-based, precise, but also empathetic. I believe every patient deserve a smile they feel good about, and I try to make that path as smooth as posible even when treatment takes time.
